It's difficult to appreciate in this modern age how unbelievable these jukeboxes sounded back in their day.  However, even today, the sound from this 78rpm playing machine is astonishing! 

This fine example, has only had the amplifier re-built and a good service - yet plays and sounds as good as it did back in 1948.
